In The Chronicle Book Review's special Children's Books issue, I review three science fiction and fantasy novels for younger readers: China Mieville's "Un Lun Dun," "Under My Roof" by Nick Mamatas and "Quantum Prophecy: The Awakening."(And yes, I know Elasti-Girl was in the Doom Patrol. I tried to get the reference corrected, but it didn't take, somehow.)
