Woohoo! I got eight out of ten predictions correct in this year's Oscar pool at the local video shop. That's ten free credits. Not exactly the Irish Sweepstakes, but I'll take what I can get.I got tripped up on Foreign-Language Film, which I had assumed would go to "Pan's Labyrinth." And I foolishly listened to the hype for Eddie Murphy, ignoring the likelihood that the Academy would have trouble voting for the prickly star of "Norbit."
One of these year's I'm going to roll a perfect Oscar score. Just you wait...
